Recipe #3: Peanut Butter Tandycake

Ingredients

  • Vanilla cake mix, ( the usual ingredients)
  • 1 can of peanut butter
  • about 5-6 Hershey Bars

Recipe

Bake vanilla cake as normal although make it a thinner cake then usual. ( Use a cookie sheet or thin pan) Let Cake cool. Melt 3/4 of a can of peanut butter in microwave for about 1-2 minutes until thoroughly melted. Pour on cake and spread out. Put cake in fridge for about 30 minutes until peanut butter hardens. Melt Hershey bars in microwave- be very careful not to burn it. I usually melt 1-2 bars at at time for maybe 30-45 seconds or less. Pour over peanut butter and put cake in fridge for 1 hour or so. Take cake out and let it sit for 1 hour and you can cut into pieces. The cake can now sit out. I hope you enjoy the Peanut butter tandy cakes. My mom showed me this a long time ago and it is the only dessert I bake! It is a huge HIT!
