Lead IS Auditor

Specific Duties

Independently plan, coordinate, and perform the assessment of Information Technology projects ensuring the quality and completeness of:

Project use cases and requirements

User acceptance and functional testing

Design of application and reporting controls

Security controls over business data

Controls ensuring the accuracy of business data

Controls ensuring the accuracy of business reporting

Develop audit programs for testing application and general technology controls.  Ability to utilize Compute Assisted Audit techniques when testing application controls, business data and business reporting accuracy.

Provide consultative advice on control requirements and design

Develop and deliver audit status reports.   This includes the presentation of objectives, scope, findings, and recommendations to management.

Knowledge Summary

Expert knowledge in performance of application, systems development life cycle and data warehouse audits. 

Expert knowledge in eBusiness, Internet infrastructure, Disaster Recovery controls.

Experience with CAATs (computer-assisted audit techniques), such as ACL and SQL, is desirable.

Experience with IT risk assessment and risk based auditing, as well as, effectively communicating Information Technology and Information Systems functions, controls and exposures to management. 

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree required.

Seven (7)+ years of experience in  IT audit. 

Seven (7)+  Years of auditing experience.

Certification (such as CISA or CISSP) is highly desirable
