Vice President of IT


A highly experienced IT professional is needed for a Vice President of IT position in Exton, PA.


Responsibilities of the Vice President of IT include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT operational policy and procedures.
  • Providing management and operations across hardware platforms, networking, telecom, servers, storage, user/employees service, help desk, ISPs, email, system monitoring, etc.
  • Identifying areas of operational improvement and executing strategies to address and optimize them.
  • Ensuring infrastructure and services are appropriately maintained and supported.
  • Providing optimal delivery of IT services.
  • Ensuring compliance and security (HIPPA & Industry) is always maintained.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to internal operational staff.
  • Developing effective relationships and agreements with third party managed service providers.
  • Partnering directly with executive leadership to enhance overall operational efficiencies.
  • Handling the IT operational budget.

Requirements:

Requirements of the Vice President of IT:

  • Bachelor's or technical degree in computer related field preferred (relative work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education)

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior IT role with background in IT support services, Network infrastructure, Server and cloud infrastructure, and Security/compliance

  • Demonstrated success in transformational projects both at a departmental and enterprise level

  • Experience managing staff, including hire/fire responsibilities

  • Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills

  • Proven leadership abilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Can quickly assimilate new technology into existing practices and procedures
