Sr. Mobile Ux-Information Architect
A Sr. Mobile Ux-Information Architect is needed for a temporary-to-hire position in Allentown, PA.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Mobile Ux-Information Architect include:
- Research to understand user needs and identify where separate interactions should come together as one to better meet that need
- Arrange these separate interactions into rational user flows and digital touch-points for that product or service
- Look for commonalities in activities across user experiences where new mobile product opportunities could be realized
- Communicate with detailed design and industry-backed decisions and be able to represent all experience touch-points
- Run and lead Design Thinking, Ideation workshops, design sprints and other collaborative activities
- Participate in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative employee targeted user research and deliver those findings effectively to any audience
- Research and track advancements in mobile application design patterns
- Create and rapidly iterate interactive prototypes in accordance with task, scenario and journey
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand how your designs can be built
- Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in the mobile design field
Requirements:
Requirements of the Sr. Mobile Ux-Information Architect:
- 5+ years’ product design experience (Agency is preferred)
- 3+ years of native app design experience (iOS + Android)
- Strong graphic design skills are evident in your online portfolio, showing great understanding of typography, intuitive layouts and palate development
- Significant experience designing consumer-facing native applications for iOS/Android and a fluent command of each platform’s native design guidelines, best practices, UI and navigation controls
- Proven ability to leverage standard native controls and the ability to provide data-driven support for designing custom controls
- Significant experience working with, and knowledge of, Kotlin, Material Design, and JetPack UI/UX controls
- Significant experience working with, and knowledge of, iOS UIKit
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with InVision and Zeplin
- Working collectively and autonomously with cross-functional teams
- Solid understanding of Information Architecture, taxonomy, and content matrixes
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in interaction design, human-computer interaction, cognitive science or related field
- Basic front-end technology integration and enablement knowledge
- Ability to translate outputs and outcomes into compelling written presentations
- Financial services experience a plus
- Solid experience with sketching, wireframing, prototyping, sitemapping, data visualization and communication, and workshop facilitation
