Senior Director of IT

Senior Director of IT is currently needed for a Direct-Hire position in Chester County, PA.

Responsibilities of the Senior Director of IT include:

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining IT operational policy and procedures.
  • Overseeing the management and operations of hardware platforms, networking, telecom, servers, storage, user/employees service, help desk, ISPs, email, system monitoring, etc.
  • Identifying areas of operational improvement and executing strategies to address them.
  • Ensuring infrastructure and services are appropriately maintained and supported.
  • Providing optimal delivery of IT services.
  • Ensuring compliance and security is maintained.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to internal operational staff.
  • Developing relationships and maintaining agreements with third party managed service providers.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to enhance overall operational efficiencies.
  • Managing the IT operational budget.


Requirements of the Senior Director of IT:

  • Bachelor's/technical degree preferred in Computer related field (applicable work experience can be considered instead)

  • 5 years' experience in a senior IT role with previous managements responsiblities

  • Success in transformation projects both at a departmental and enterprise level

  • Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills

  • Experience in IT support services, network infrastructure, server and cloud infrastructure, security and compliance, and implementing new technology into practices/procedures
