A highly experience HR professional is needed for a Direct-Hire Senior Benefits Specialist role in North Wales, PA!

As the Senior Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing benefit programs/plans, analyzing their effectiveness, and reviewing the company’s goals in relation to benefit programs. This full-time position offers an annual salary of $100K.


Responsibilities of the Senior Benefits Specialist include:

  •        Analyzing current benefits, evaluating their use, plan provisions, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and market trends in American benefit programs.
  •        Underwriting analysis to project renewal cost for U.S. medical programs.
  •        Develop company and DOCs Renewal analysis by evaluating utilization reports, identifying actual or potential problems or future changes based on overall benefit strategies, activity trends, and implementing change as appropriate.
  •        Planning and developing benefit programs to meet company goals.
  •        Conducting comparative benefit surveys to assess the company’s competitive position and recommending changes.
  •        Leading and overseeing the open enrollment process from Performance and Reward’s perspective, including making timelines, communication plans that utilize various media, system updates, coordinating with brokers, vendors and reporting.
  •        Coordinating the details of plan changes to HRIT and implementing changed details on Workday.
  •        Ensuring a smooth transition to company benefits by acquired entities.
  •        Working closely with Vendors to review and discuss plan experience, utilization, strengths, and program effectiveness and discuss strategies for cost control.
  •        Participating in the development of overall Global Benefit strategies.

Requirements:

  •        Bachelor’s degree

  •        Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits field

  •        Extensive knowledge and experience with employee benefit programs and an understanding of global benefits and insurance

  •        Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  •        Experience with vendor and broker management

  •        Thorough understanding of all applicable laws relating to benefit administration (including COBRA, HIPPA, and ERISA) and effectively complying

  •        Great organizational, analytical, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

  •        Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
