Description:

Project Manager

A highly experienced Project Manager is currently needed for a position in Radnor, PA. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning and executing IT-related projects.

Responsibilities of the Project Manager include:

  • Managing the entire project lifecycle from project initiation to close.
  • Acting as the first point of contact between project stakeholders and the project team to ensure success.
  • Creating, executing, monitoring, and revising project plans to meet changing requirements and resources.
  • Planning, preparing for, and facilitating all project status meetings.
  • manage resolution of project issues including proper escalation to project stakeholders.
  • Identifying project resource requirements/timelines and negotiating with IT service owners on resource availability and allocation.
  • Leading team members and ensuring they feel engaged, productive, and effective.
  • Facilitating project procurement (products and services required by third parties) and consulting IT resources as needed.
  • Managing project time and cost expectations with project stakeholders as well as managing budget.
  • Collaborating with Project Owner and stakeholders to assess project risks and ensure mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Facilitating issue identification and resolution.
  • Documenting project change requests and assessing change impact.
  • Conducting project Lessons Learned meetings and using results to improve projects and processes.
  • Ensuring successful transition of applications or infrastructure changes to Customer and Production Support teams.

Requirements:

Requirements of the Project Manager: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business (or equivalent work experience)

  • Minimum 6 years experience in an IT project management / lead systems analysis function

  • SAP implementation and cutover experience preferred

  • Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of full lifecycle project implementation / support

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

  • Knowledge of SAP functionality and configuration a plus

  • Proven ability to understand complex business processes and suggest possible solutions

  • Experience leading and managing project team members and deliverables

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required

  • PMP certification and familiarity with SAP ASAP methodology a plus

  • Experience in wholesale distribution a plus
