A highly-knowledgeable job seeker with experience in the insurance industry is currently needed for a Program Manager position in Jacksonville, FL!

 

Our client company is a Florida based property insurance company that is dedicated to providing coverage to Florida policyholders who struggle to find insurance protection. They have multiple offices across Florida which provide services that include claims, underwriting, and customer support.


Responsibilities of the Program Manager include:

  •     Managing large and complex projects including groups of inter-related projects targeted to meet company goals.
  •     Establishing project/program management framework, tracking progress, managing risk, and controlling change in order to ensure delivery that meets time, cost and quality objectives.
  •     Occasionally working directly for a project sponsor with supervision.

Requirements:

Requirements:

  •     Bachelor’s Degree, 4 years’ experience, OR an equivalent combination of college and experience
  •     Minimum 10 years’ Project Manager experience (with 5 years in a lead project or program management capacity)
  •     PMP Certification or will obtain PMP Certification within 8 months of employment
  •     Expert knowledge of Program/project management methodology, principles and governance
  •     Strong strategic planning, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  •     Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  •     Advanced understanding of corporate environment, objectives, and ability to propose solutions for their achievement
  •     Knowledge of diverse business and technical concepts and budget management
  •     Knowledge of the insurance industry preferred (project management ideal)
