Marketing Operations Analyst

A professional and friendly job-seeker is needed for a  Marketing Operations Analyst position in West Chester, PA!

As a Marketing Operation Analyst, you will optimize marketing campaign processes and proactively support the performance and optimization of various marketing tools such as Tableau, Cognos, IBM Unica Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Facebook Ads. To succeed in this role, the candidate must be self-driven, resourceful, detail and process-oriented and comfortable working with relational tables through use of tools such as SQL/SAS and advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Operations Analyst include:

  • Acting as liaison between Campaign Management team and DBA’s, IT and CRM functioning departments to become subject matter expert on Marketing Data Mart fields.
  • Updating and/or creating new SQL Macros to help improve speed and accuracy of campaign development
  • Building and maintaining pre and post campaign audits to assure proper targeting and delivery
  • Creating and executing constant SQL processes to improve the “health” of the marketing data and improving data integrity through implementing best practices in SQL and Macro design
  • Analyzing, creating and maintaining database segmentation
  • Troubleshooting data discrepancies and performing deeper dive analysis into understanding gaps in the process and data mart
  • Owning all Ad-hoc analysis initiatives to support Lifecycle Marketing team
  • Tracking and documenting all campaign design and segmentation processes/updates/enhancements

Requirements of the Marketing Operations Analyst:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient with SQL used for Data Mining and Macro creation and must be able to demonstrate proficiency
  • Proficient with Reporting Tools such as Tableau, Cognos or Business Objects
  • Proficient with Relational Databases such as Oracle, Netezza, MS SQL server, Teradata
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to support campaign management processes and understand campaign marketing results
  • Ability to identify areas to create best practices, establish efficiencies, and proactively present production solutions
  • Strong ability to manage and communicate process and/or quality control gaps and know when to escalate to reduce risk
