A responsible job-seeker is needed for an HR Coordinator position in Philadelphia, PA! As the HR Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing assistance with all aspects of the recruitment and selection process for company-wide union and non-union vacancies including participating in recruitment activities, scheduling interviews, reference checking, and corporate orientation programs for new hires. This position offers $14 an hour.
Responsibilities of the HR Coordinator include:
Supporting the staffing team members by performing a variety of administrative functions including but not limited to answering telephones, maintaining calendars, fielding questions, creating a variety of written correspondences in order to relay critical information, directing calls to appropriate staff as needed.
Maintaining resume tracking system, downloading resumes, sorting and submitting to appropriate recruiter; assisting in developing resume status reports.
Updating and maintaining applicant tracking system, ensuring vacant positions are posted on internal and external outlets and websites, in accordance with company policy and collective bargaining agreement provisions.
Assisting with administration of testing to internal and external applicants.
Coordinating onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling of pre-employment physical and personnel folder documentation.
Coordinating and facilitating regular new hire orientation meetings ensuring proper on-boarding for acclimation; notifying attendees and managers of attendance requirements.
Coordinating the performance management and tuition assistance programs; ensuring timely submission, accuracy and completeness of documents; assisting supervisor in on-going review of programs; facilitating informational meetings as necessary.
Maintaining the recruitment manual and database files of employment requisitions; generating regular and ad hoc status reports.
Prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, and testing appointments for the potential candidates; coordinating interviews with recruiters and hiring managers.
Communicating with area colleges, universities, trade schools, etc. to support/develop co-operative Employment/Internship program.
Processing invoices using Oracle software.
Representing company at local career fairs.
Performing other special projects and assignments as requested.
