eDiscovery Analyst


A professional and friendly job-seeker is needed for a eDiscovery Analyst position in Philadelphia, PA! As the eDiscovery Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operational and technical support of various eDiscovery and litigation-related software to the firm's attorneys and paralegals.

 

Responsibilities of the eDiscovery Analyst include:

  • Building and supporting IPRO Eclipse SE eDiscovery databases.
  • Processing and scanning documents, importing and exporting data in various load file formats, searching and tagging documents, assisting users with searching using Boolean syntax, batching and other strategies for reviewing documents, OCR documents, generate Productions, create batch prints.
  • Observing standard eDiscovery best practices and using department conventions to ensure project repeatability.
  • Administering projects, cases, groups, and users.
  • Building and supporting Case Notebook projects.
  • Loading transcripts and linked exhibits, working with paralegals and court reporters to deliver transcripts in the correct format, assisting users with searching, annotating and reporting.
  • Collaborating with vendors on larger eDiscovery projects using hosted eDiscovery platforms.
  • Recording all time worked each day.
  • Testing new software, attending training sessions, participating in vendor demonstrations.
  • Performing data parsing and text manipulation using functions in Excel or SQL.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing large data transfers.
  • Editing audio and video files.

Requirements:

Requirements of the eDiscovery Analyst:

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree in a Tech / IT field preferred

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in an eDiscovery role

  • Experience with the processing and management of eDiscovery data throughout the litigation lifecycle

  • Familiarity with one or more eDiscovery platforms such as Eclipse and hosted platforms such as Relativity

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with Adobe Pro

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills and great attention to detail and maintain quality control
