Customer Support Representative

Two job-seekers are needed for Customer Support Representative positions in Philadelphia, PA! As the Client Services Assistant, you will be assisting with Human Resources tasks, especially those associated with benefits. These temporary-to-hire positions offer $16 an hour.

Responsibilities of the Customer Support Representative include:

  • Handling incoming customer calls, responding to complaints and inquiries, and resolving a wide array of issues.
  • Learning company products and policies to easily communicate information to customers in a way they can understand and provide answers to any questions.
  • Maintaining a log of incoming calls from customers and field personnel.
  • Following through with issues/concerns to ensure they were handled well.
  • Communicating with Policyholders and Agents on policy changes.
  • Assisting other departments with customer service problems.
  • Providing assistance with questions on SmartChoice, VIP and other products as they become available.
  • Taking on other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Requirements of the Customer Support Representative:

  • High School diploma/GED (associate degree preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience ideal (especially customer service)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills
  • Proficiency with navigating PCs, the internet, and Microsoft Office
  • Can interpret Group and Annuity insurance contracts
  • Knowledge of and familiarity with Group Administration, Individual Administration, and basic claim processing
