Customer Service Representative


A knowledgeable job-seeker is needed for a Direct-Hire Customer Service Representative position in Tempe, AZ! As the Customer Service Representative, you will primarily be responsible for answering product and service questions and suggesting information about other products and services. This position offers $16/Hr. 

 

Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include:

  • Opening and maintaining customer accounts by recording account information

  • Resolving product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution

  • Maintaining financial accounts by processing customer adjustments

  • Recommending potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs

  • Preparing product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information

  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

  • Managing large amounts of incoming calls

  • Generating sales leads

  • Identifying and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication

  • Providing accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools

Requirements:

Requirements of the Customer Service Representative:

  • Experience in banking, mortgage, finance, or extensive experience in call centers
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
