Collections Representative (SPOC)


Multiple Collections Representatives are needed for Direct-Hire positions in Beaverton, OR! As the SPOC, you will primarily be responsible for assisting customers in the servicing of their mortgage in one of the following functions: customer service, collections, or loss mitigation. This is a full-time position offering $42k/year! 


Responsibilities of the Collections Representative Include:

  • Acting as a single point of contact to assigned borrowers currently 45+ days delinquent, in a disaster area, or the borrower requests lost mitigation options.
  • Primarily receiving inbound calls and placing a small number of outbound calls involving customer service and collection issues.
  • Assisting the borrower with loss mitigation options, how to apply, and giving them status updates.
  • Working with the borrower on repayment plans to get them back to a current status.
  • Remaining the single point of contact until the borrower is current or approved for loss mitigation.
  • Providing written and verbal responses to customer inquiries as needed.
  • Working a 1:00 - 10:00 PM shift, with a rotating Saturday every 3 weeks.
  • Attending 4 weeks of training 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Requirements:

Requirements of the Collections Representative:
  • Must have minimum of 2 years Call Center Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be familiar with investor guidelines and available programs.
  • Prior loss mitigation experience preferred.
  • Must pass NMLS test within 120 days.
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment. 
  • Must be able to work Overtime should business needs dictate
  • Cannot take time off within the first 90 days
