Claims Assistant

Seeking a Claims Assistant in Jacksonville, FL! Our client company is a National financial group. As a Claims Assistant, you will be reviewing and preparing claim checks and claim litigation data!

Responsibilities of a Claims Assistant include:

  • Reviewing, identifying, and directing incoming electronic images of claims; fax and email
  • Receiving, reviewing, preparing, and entering claim checks of claim litigation into multiple databases and Excel spreadsheets
  • Responding to customers claim related inquires
  • Preparing claims loss payments for mailing to customers
  • Preparing litigation suit matter setups

Requirements of a Claims Assistant:

  • Ability to perform minimum keystrokes of 40 WPM data entry accurately
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet-based programs
  • Proficient in Imaging applications which support imaged documents workflows
  • Ability to organize and compile data and prioritize work
  • Identify discrepancies and very close attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in locating, moving, and relabeling documents and working within network folders
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed
