Contemporary Staffing Solutions celebrates
Once a month we will feature a “first job” from one of our employees, clients, or contractors, posing questions often asked in job interviews. They will share many things like what they learned from their first job, how they feel it’s applicable to their job today, and something they learned from their first job they wish they knew then.
Abbey F., a Payroll Specialist for our CSS Commercial Division shares her first job:
Where was your first job & what was your title there?
“Ice cream scooper at Baskin Robbins.“
What were your daily responsibilities?
“To scoop ice cream, make milkshakes and sundaes.“
What was a “stand out” moment that was fun/interesting/memorable”?
“Eating all the ice cream I wanted while at work!”
What did you learn from this job that you apply to your current job?
“To always be nice to the people you work with.“
What do you know now, that you wish you knew then?
“Work ethic is a characteristic that helps define who you are as a person and you should always give 100% to what you do.”
What is your current job/title?
Abbey F. is currently a Payroll Specialist for our CSS Commercial Division at our Mt. Laurel, NJ headquarters.
