Deposit Operations Specialist

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting Deposit Operations Specialist for Direct Hire positions in Philadelphia, PA.

Responsibilities of the Deposit Operations Specialist:

  • Monitor and address all non-post, stop pays, positive pay or NSF items on a daily basis.
  • Process foreign items.
  • Process chargeback’s, ACH items, and wires.
  • Process daily account maintenance requests in accordance with Bank policy and file properly.
  • Responsible for processing daily reports and settlements as delegated by the Deposit Operations Manager.
  • Process and review ACH activity according to NACHA rules.
  • Report discrepancies immediately to the Deposit Operations Manager and assist in clearing discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed records on all work responsibilities.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of the Bank’s customers.
  • Remain current on and adhere to all regulatory requirements and training.
  • Provide back up to all other Deposit Operations Specialists.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Deposit Operations Specialist:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • 2-5 years’ experience or equivalent.
  • Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members
  • Extensive knowledge regarding Regulation E and error resolution for ACH and Debit Cards.
  • Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Basic Mathematical Skills
  • A thorough understanding of all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the work of a Deposit Operations Specialist
  • Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks

Loan Operations Specialist

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting Loan Operations Specialists for Direct Hire positions in Philadelphia, PA.

They should have a proven record of personal and professional achievement and able to master new technologies as needed. Responsibilities of the Loan Operations Specialist:

  • Input and upload new loans/borrowers onto the core system by following the current new loan setup procedures; including reviewing all documentation for accuracy.
  • Setup interest reserve spread sheet for new construction loans.
  • Add loan information to the mortgage log for follow up of recorded documents.
  • Process payment tickets
  • Prepare and track construction loan advances
  • Add insurance policy information to the core tracking system
  • Annual tax searches of collateral
  • Prepare payoff statements
  • Loan post-closing
  • Prepare satisfaction, release and termination documents for mortgages and UCC’s and send them out for recording.
  • Scan all remaining documents and confirm that they are attached to the correct file
  • Control of file room- filing and retrieval and also maintaining the current organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements of the Loan Operations Specialist:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • 2-5 years’ experience or equivalent.
  • Effective interpersonal relationships with management and team members
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial loan processing (payments, advances and interest reserves)
  • Ability to perform tasks quickly and accurately
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • A thorough understanding of all policies, procedures and regulations pertaining to the work of a Loan Operations Specialist
  • Ability to operate in a team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Ability to effectively manage time as related to daily tasks
