  • Ensure service levels are met by communicating with vendors via phone and email to provide client-specific order requirements to help avoid delays and re-work.
  • Use negotiation skills and persuasiveness to gain vendor agreement to commit to expected deliverable time frame.
  • Engage in work processes and procedures that consistently meet service level agreements.
  • Look for ways to improve efficiency and create better processes and procedures.
  • Note all contacts and actions in the production system.Maintain and submit required logs and/or reports, including production and related activities.

Requirements of the Appraisal Coordinator:

  • Must have a High School Diploma.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of Banking experience.
  • Mortgage experience preferred.
  • Appraisal experience preferred.

    correction.

  • Oversee departmental risk; identify any risk with processes, vendors and internal departments; recommend process improvements.
  • Develop, run and maintain customized reporting to track vendor oversight and internal business units’ internal processes.
  • Responsible for controls and oversight of client service level agreements (SLAs); ensure adherence to SLAs.
  • Manage escalation processes, including:
    • Oversee department’s escalation client email box to ensure timely responses; communicate with clients.
    • Responsible for escalation process with internal departments; ensure research is provided timely, in order to meet SLAs; initiate escalation if necessary to meet timeline.
  • Oversee verbal grievance process throughout the company; continual examination of controllable written presidential/verbal grievances and/or qualified written requests (QWR); identify business units with excessive references; identify root causes; perform monthly root cause analysis review to identify patterns and/or trends; assist in implementing changes or provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Oversee department’s remedial action plans to ensure staff is working in accordance with policies on identified issues in order to eliminate future issues; develop and implement measurement of success plans.
  • Responsible for CFPB monitoring; review client sites for mortgage servicing related issues; develop and oversee process.
  • Monitor industry compliance communications and internal compliance updates to ensure changes that impact the area are communicated and documented in procedures.

Loan Officer

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting Loan Officers for a Direct Hire position in West Palm Beach, FL.

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you will assume full responsibility to guide new home purchasers through the loan process from loan application to loan approval and settlement.  You’ll prequalify prospective buyers, review financing options, and assist in repairing credit challenged purchasers as needed.  You also serve as the primary point of contact for home buyers throughout the home buying process. 

Responsibilities of the Loan Officer:

  • Remain knowledgeable on all available loan programs, as well as broker offerings, to compete with lenders to earn each customer’s business.
  • Originate high quality loan applications and submit to the processing department along with all supporting documentation.
  • Maintain weekly contact with all borrowers, and brokers to answer questions regarding specific loans, share loan status, and build relationships.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with the Sales team to support the monthly sales goals of each community.
  • Educate sales and marketing team members on industry changes and new product offerings.
  • Provide excellent service to the builder and homebuyer while meeting yearly performance goals.

Requirements of the Loan Officer:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Must meet National and State licensing requirements.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in conventional and government loans is required.
  • Strong knowledge of FNMA, FHA, and State housing loans is required.
  • Must have strong selling, customer service, and vocational skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.
